OK, any place that has giant rats, draws its healing powers from an innate beauty, and is populated with pilgrims, healers, devotees, mystics and a baby hanging out while knocking back a bottle of milk makes for yet another fantastic series of shots and thoughts unique to this photoblog and the photo from march 7 with the light coming through the trees ties it all together (for me)

I'm kind of wondering too as to how Mt. Banahaw came to be known as a mysterious mountain. I wonder if any scientists have come to examine the place.
