All the caves in Mount Banahaw are considered sacred and are named after Biblical persons and locations.

never been to that place! i agree, interesting shots!

One of the caves I went into was certainly very interesting.

Hey, is that little girl not wearing her undergarments?

they have the plastic dolls that devotees to Krishna seem to love as well.

like the last one in the series a lot... very nice capture...

Very intriguing subject.

You take the most interesting shots Sidney...the milk-drinking , Huggiesless child almost belongs in that group of Santo Ninos!:)

love the pictures and the subject that embraces

nice shots you have. :) ive never been to a cave yet..

in response to your comment: we did not invent the game.. we just copied and improved it from various games.. :P

OK, any place that has giant rats, draws its healing powers from an innate beauty, and is populated with pilgrims, healers, devotees, mystics and a baby hanging out while knocking back a bottle of milk makes for yet another fantastic series of shots and thoughts unique to this photoblog and the photo from march 7 with the light coming through the trees ties it all together (for me)

I heard that Mt. Banahaw is quite mystical. I hope I can pay a visit one day

nice shots sid. Thanks for allowing me to use your copyrighted photos. I will just feature some of them in my blog in the future. like these banahaw pics which are totally awesome. a perfect representation of our province.

Funny that the last picture with the Sto. Ninos has a kid without her panty on.

J'aime bien ces lieux sacrés patiné au naturel, en dehors de la sphère ostentatoire de nos églises.

The top two photos are wonderful.

en tout cas le lieu t'a inspiré! un paradis pour photographes

I would love to visit. Looks gorgeous.

Very nice shots. We can feel the spanish influence here!

I'm kind of wondering too as to how Mt. Banahaw came to be known as a mysterious mountain. I wonder if any scientists have come to examine the place.

The caves are very interesting. I would wonder how they originally came to be thought of as sacred.
Nice shooting...as always.

these are interesting caves. greats shots!
